APIs are a better alternative than Web crawling. Unlike in Web crawling, there is no danger of IPs being blocked or black-listed for violating crawling guidelines. For example, it can be used by e-Commerce Websites to enable their users to do comparison shopping by providing comparitive product features, prices, etc.

Our Product Feed API URLs expire within 10 hours.

All the API URLs are appended with your Affiliate Tracking ID, by default. You can directly use these URLs present in the API feeds to promote Flipkart products on your Website.

If you want to add sub-ID tracking to any URL generated by your API calls, you can add the sub-ID tracking parameters to the URLs.

What is an Affiliate API Token?
A:

The Affiliate API Token is used to authenticate a registered affiliate to allow them access to the API feeds. If you are a registered affiliate, you can create your access token here.

How many products can I retrieve per product feed API request?
A:

It retrieves data for 500 items per request, by default. This limit is not configurable.

How do I extract more products from the product feed API?
A:

You can use the nextUrl attribute in the response of the first request to retrieving the next 500 items. This process goes on until you reach the last set of items for a particular category.

How many products can I retrieve per request in the Generic Product Feeds API?

You can get the entire product catalog of a given category in a CSV file compressed in zip format.

What is the maximum number of products that can be retrieved as a part of any search in the Search Query based on Keywords API?

For each search, you can retrieve 10 products at the most.
